Overview

Educational facility cleaning on a campus

We clean academic buildings once evening classes end, and we quote residences on their own clock because students live in them. Lecture halls, commons, libraries, offices, washrooms and stairwells are in scope. Chemical and hazmat lab work is not.

In a lecture hall the work is floors, seats and door hardware. In the commons it is tables, bins and the dirt tracked in from outside. Washrooms and stairwells follow the same rotation, with railings and door handles wiped on every visit.

Teaching labs get floors and high-touch surfaces only. A lab with fume hoods or chemical waste needs a specialist.

Summer turnover in residences is a move-out pass, booked apart from the nightly clean and scoped like our move-out cleaning for residences.

Kindergarten to Grade 12 buildings sit under school cleaning services. Administrative floors follow our office cleaning routine, civic buildings fall under government building cleaning, and storage beside the dock is covered by warehouse and dock cleaning.

What's included

What we clean on a campus

  • Lecture halls and classrooms

Floors vacuumed or mopped, desks and seats wiped, door hardware cleaned.

  • Commons and cafeterias

Tables, bins and entrance floors on the public side of student spaces.

  • Libraries and offices

Floors, desks and shared surfaces, cleaned around opening hours.

  • Washrooms and stairwells

Cleaned and disinfected on the nightly rotation, with railings wiped.

  • Teaching labs, floors only

Floors and high-touch surfaces. Chemical and hazmat work is excluded.

  • Loading dock, when quoted

Added as its own line when your facilities team wants it covered.

Your written quote lists academic wings, residences and docks as separate lines.

Your schedule

Planned around classes and residences

  • Academic wings after class

Crews start once the last seminar lets out. A hall held late is skipped until you release it.

  • Residences, separate floors

Residences stay occupied, so they are quoted as their own floors and times.

  • Summer residence turnover

A move-out pass booked apart from the nightly clean and agreed on the walkthrough.

  • Day porter option

Washrooms, common areas and spills handled during business hours, if your campus wants it.

We send a written quote within 1 business day.

Winter

Semester starts and winter breaks

The winter break is the best window for floor work, because lecture halls and corridors are empty. We can book machine scrubbing of hard floors and carpet extraction into those weeks, so floors are ready when the January semester opens. Once students return, wet weather tracks slush and grit into every entrance. Entrance mat cleaning and salt-stain removal keep the first floors people see in order. Give us your break dates on the walkthrough and we plan around them.
