Overview

Civic buildings cleaned after the public leaves

We clean municipal offices, administrative buildings, public service facilities and council chambers once visitors have gone. Counters, corridors, elevators and washrooms are done before the next morning's first appointment, and meeting rooms are cleaned after they empty.

Secure suites stay out of the scope unless you add them and name the escort. Everest is CIMS certified and licensed and insured, with workers' compensation coverage (WorkSafeBC, WSIB or WCB as required in each province). Buildings that run around the clock can add 24/7 shift cleaning. Campuses and K-12 sites have their own pages for college cleaning services and school cleaning services.

What's included

What a government building clean covers

  • Reception and public counters

Counters, waiting areas and reception desks are wiped, and the floors around them are vacuumed or mopped.

  • Corridors, elevators and stairwells

Hallway floors, elevator cabs and stairwells are cleaned, and railings are wiped down.

  • Washrooms

Fixtures, mirrors and floors are cleaned and disinfected. Soap and paper are restocked when they are in your scope.

  • Meeting rooms and council chambers

Tables, chairs and floors are reset once the room empties after a meeting.

  • Offices and staff rooms

Desks, kitchenettes and shared surfaces are cleaned, and waste and recycling go out to your building's rules.

  • High-touch points

Door handles, railings, elevator buttons and counters are wiped on every visit.

Secure suites stay out unless you add them and name the escort. Your written quote confirms tasks and frequency.

Your schedule

When we clean a civic building

  • After the public leaves

Public floors are cleaned nightly or several nights a week, starting once the doors close.

  • Meeting rooms after they empty

Chambers and boardrooms are reset when the last meeting ends, so the next one starts in a clean room.

  • Escort-required areas

Restricted areas are quoted as a separate line, with the escort and access times agreed in writing.

  • Disinfection after a public event

When you ask, we add a disinfection pass after a public event. It is quoted separately.

We set crew size, equipment and a cleaning schedule for your space.

  3. Step 3: Free site assessment

We walk the building so the plan matches what is actually there.

  4. Step 4: Get your written quote

We send a written quote within 1 business day.

Year-end

Year-end floor care, February to March

Federal and provincial fiscal years end on March 31, so floor projects at public buildings are often booked for February and March. We scope each one from a walkthrough. Typical work is strip and wax on lobby and corridor floors, carpet extraction in offices and council chambers, and a deep clean of washrooms and high-touch surfaces. Crews work floor by floor after close, so public areas are ready for the next day. The walkthrough is free, and the written quote lists each area.
