Yes. That is the usual window. We keep the floor closed while it's wet. As a result, Monday morning brings a burnished corridor, not wet finish under carts.
The stripper sits until the old finish lifts. After the new coats cure enough to walk on, we burnish, so the hallway takes carts without scuffing on day one.
We strip VCT hallways and sheet vinyl. However, we don't strip LVP peel-and-stick, wood, or stone. Those stay out of scope.
